Democracy at work

This is too good to pass up. Daily Kos asks: would you work for a small company if you knew that 117 of its 500 or so employees have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least two businesses; 29 have been accused of spousal abuse; nine have been arrested for fraud; 71 can’t get a credit card thanks to bad credit; 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the past year… well, read the full list.

You probably wouldn’t, but it doesn’t seem to have deterred members of the U.S. Congress.

OK, the numbers are old and maybe flaky, but why let that get in the way of a fine story…
