How to destroy the Earth

You might think that humanity is already doing a pretty good job at this, but if you really want to destroy the planet, you’ll need more than SUVs, coal-fired power plants and nuclear weapons. You’ll need a black hole (small or large), or a stable strangelet, or 12 kilos of antimatter, or a big rock (Mars would do), or something capable of producing timed pulses of energy (to do to the Earth what wind did to the Tacoma Narrows Bridge)… or a light bulb.
