Prayerful
Today is the National Day of Prayer. If you have an imaginary friend, it might be nice to pray for her help in securing the passage of the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007. H.R. 1592 would “provide federal assistance to states, local jurisdictions and Indian tribes to prosecute hate crimes” involving “actual or perceived religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.”
Wait a minute: looks like that’s not gonna happen. Apparently America’s Christians—
along with their godawful president—support hatred and discrimination.
Fancy that.
